The definition of a charitable donation is “a gift made by an individual or an organization to a nonprofit organization, charity, or private foundation. Charitable donations are commonly in the form of cash, but they can also take the form of real estate, motor vehicles, appreciated securities, clothing, and other assets or services”. There are many ways to give.
Deborah Danielson, CFP®, MSFS, President of Danielson Financial Group prides herself on helping our community through charitable giving. In 2019, Deborah and our company have been proud supporters of Three Square Food Bank, Toys for Tots, Animal Foundation, Adam’s Place, Shade Tree, The Smith Center, Central Church, Eastern Star, and Retriever Rescue of Las Vegas. All of these organizations hold special meaning to our company and it is very heartwarming to help make a difference.
Did you know that giving to charity makes you feel good? Acknowledging that you are helping others is empowering and can make you feel fulfilled and happier. Giving to charity strengthens personal values; and for Deborah and our company, we feel we have a moral duty to help others. Giving helps us feel like we are living in a way that is true to our beliefs.
Every penny donated is impactful in some way or another; it helps others and it also positively impacts our own hearts.
